Taxing poor people is stupid and pointless. It just makes them poorer and they can't consume, which is the only thing our economy has going for it, since you job creators decided to create all the jobs in Mexico and China.

You know this, how??  What is it like to be omniscient?  Your contention is baseless.  And for the record, I make less than $125K/yr.  My bank account is not swollen.  Taxing poor people is not stupid and pointless.  If they are taxed at some very minimal rate, then they are invested the society.  They are invested in how the government spends what it takes from them.  The condescending way you want to treat low income people in this country is one of the fundamental problems.  [/quote]
