The funny part is, is that you think that it's not synonymous, that it's OK for the President and WH to target and retaliate against news media that doesn't support their position. When the President uses his position to both attack AND take steps to retaliate against media that speaks poorly about him, he stating quite clearly that the they should not be able to say whatever it wants.
