She needs to be told in no uncertain terms to grow the eff up. Most people dislike going to the doctor for these reasons. We go anyway, because we take care of our health. Tell her to drop the pathetic pretty princess act and start acting like an adult. Your tone needs to be firm when you tell her this. [/quote]

This person is well meaning but has probably no experience dealing with people with debilitating anxiety or on the spectrum.  OP, if it’s even half as bad as you describe, you need some professional guidance here.  [/quote]
