Some of the people that I care about the most in the world are Jewish. Their immense kindness and generosity has deeply impacted my life and my family’s. (Coincidentally, none of them blindly support Israel).

I am a progressive and Israel and Zionists have lost me. Your inability to criticize the bad actors is driving people like me away. You will deny that this is anything but antisemitism but you are wrong. Zionists are creating an unsafe environment for Jews across the world. So you indict an entire nation of people because three religious fanatics spat on a nun. Has America lost you, too? An antizionist murdered Sarah Milgrim and Austin Lischinsky on the streets of DC in front of kids I know personally. An antizionist firebombed a demonstration calling for peace in Colorado and murdered a woman there. How about the Jews who get spat on in Brooklyn? Have you lost Americans and America? How about in Nigeria where Christians are subjected to violence? Have you lost the Nigerians? How about the Saudis? Have you lost them? How about every other country in the world? They all have bad actors that discriminate against peoples in their countries?   Your hatred is saved for the only Jewish nation in the whole world that you hold to a double standard. Thanks for quickly proving my point. There are bad actors everywhere which is what I said. When I see one, I don’t make generalizations and try to conjure up a victim scenario. Christians love the persecution myth e.g. MAGA. And so do you. You literally refuse to claim and condemn and bad actors in Israel. Instead, it is “what about” “what about”… Condemn bad behavior instead of gaslighting people and calling them anti-semites.[/quote]
