For me this is a different scenario because there is no risk that our friendship and activities together can be used as a cover up for dates with AP. The above is still morally reprehensible but I don't have to feel like I am lying by omission/ keeping the truth from someone. If my friend is the married cheater, their spouse is indirectly trusting her relationships with her friends every time she lies about meeting up with them etc. [/quote]
