I would much rather MCPS start in August.  This schedule chaos is ridiculous.  [b]So they decided that March 20 isn't a school day anymore? [/b] I'm so confused.  Why don't they keep an actual schedule with snow days and a pre-defined plan for makeup days.  I grew up in a snowy area, and it was never like this.  We had 4 snow days.  If less, you got out of school early.  If more, they added a day or two in June.  Everyone knew what was expected.  There were no "makeup days in the calendar that no one wants to use" like with MCPS.[/quote]
