And yes, I started using tamposn when I first got my period. Then I switched to a menstrual cup in my 30s, OMG, life-changing, never went back. Sleep with that in too
I’m old. And yet I don’t understand how a pad is any more “gross” than removing and emptying a cup of bloody uterine lining. isn’t that just as messy? I think both are kinda gross. Tampon for the win. At least it absorbs while inside.
Oh gosh a pad is so much more gross than a cup, I’ve used both. Once you are adept with the cup you only touch it to get it in and out. You can “empty it” hands free every time you go to the bathroom. I’ve never used a tampon so I can’t compare but the cup made my period so much less gross.
+1 I hate how pads and tampons mean you are throwing smelly blood cotton/whatever material in the trash (or hurting your plumbing by flushing it). I am fine with a little blood touching my hands. It washes off. The pads and tampons stink up the bathroom.
"The pads and tampons stink up the bathroom" No they don't. Are you changing them enough? If so they won't stick. Also take your trash out gross.
I don't use them anymore, thank God. Glad the smell doesn't bother you!
There is no smell. You might want to get that checked out!
I don't know why you are arguing with me about something that is easily googleable. Is everything okay with you?
NP google what? My pads do not stink neither does my tampons. I change them often and empty my bathroom trash every 5 days or so there is no smell and my bathroom trash doesn't have a lid. No smell. Girl go get checked.
Why do you think they make scented pads??
Well that would explain some of why your menstrual products stink if you are using any scented products there. Not good for your PH.
I'm the PP who doesn't like the smell of used tampons and pads in the trash. I didn't use scented products for a variety of reasons. The smell still bothered me. It wasn't foul, it was kind of earthy and sweet. I didn't like it. I am relatively sensitive to smells.
I'm also very sensitive to smells and there is no smell with used pads or tampons.
Your blood is distinctly odorless? How bizarre.
