It was really sobering to think that she had to meet with the families who lost children due to terrorism and then psych herself up for a fun show. I don't know how she does it.
It was prob done for viewership. She didn’t have to meet them right before her show; could've met them another day and time 🤷♀️
I don’t see this as particularly heroic. Social workers, counselors, nurses, even teachers do this all the time. They have to deal with a super sad case and then go be happy with the next person. More frequently than just once but several times in a week.
Are the super sad cases due *specifically* to them?
What are you saying here- that the guy killed the girls because he hated Taylor Swift? Even if he did, do you REALLY Think she should take any level of responsibility for that? At all? I mean it was a good idea to meet with the parents/families, but no, the guy wasn’t killing in Taylor’s behalf or because of her in anyway. The event he chose to attack just happened to be a Taylor one becuase she is everywhere. The guy had also had ricin and an al_Qaeda training manual. Rudakubana, of Banks, a village in west Lancashire, also admitted producing the biological toxin ricin and a charge under the Terrorism Act related to possessing an al-Qaeda training manual. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c5y7g01682go In trying to defend Taylor/your stance, you are making erroneous connections between Taylor, her level of responsibility and this teen who was clearly looking to be a terrorist. Taylor had nothing to do with that. Your Taylor allegiance is blinding you.
WTAF.  Obviously, Taylor Swift *personally* had nothing to do with the actions of this terrorist. But the fact is, it was a Taylor Swift-themed dance class, so the girls who were there were fans of her and her music. Of course she feels terrible!! And of course she holds no actual responsibility for this madman's actions, but it's totally normal and natural for her to feel the need to speak with the parents. It's like when the Islamic terrorist detonated a suicide bomb at an Ariana Grande concert, killing 22 people. Was it Ariana Grande's fault? Absolutely not!! But she was shaken and traumatized nonetheless and on a certain level, felt guilt about it. DUH. I can't even believe this has to be explained to you. I'm wondering how utterly cold and heartless you would have to be to shrug your shoulders if kids are killed while dancing to music YOU made. "Oh well! Not my fault!"
