You do realize working for the federal government is different than private industry? You do realize that the federal government largely has programs designed to help people whereas private companies make profits. Government agencies serve the people. Federal workers run programs that help citizens. What happened in the federal space was not a well organized layoff. It was a tech oligarch coming in and randomly firing people. There was zero thought put into the firings, which has complicated things for the people left. I’m so tired of people comparing private industry and the government without knowledge of why and how government works. [/quote]
