That was last year. US barely made 2nd this year (Korea was a pretty close 3rd and China was a clear winner). There are about 15-20 kids in the US who can make the IMO team (the Team Selection Test group at the Math Olympiad Summer program). China TST has a much larger cohort and most of them could easily take the place of the US team members. The last non-immigrant US team member was Luke Robitaiile and that was a while ago now.[/quote]
