Ms. Brito, well,  she continues with dumbing-down of the learning experience at OA while preaching an absurd discourse on equality. Her goal seems to be to focus on struggling kids that  really need a different  intervention: many in upper grades are learning to read when they should be reading to learn! Culprits (in no particular order):  "No child left behind",  "over protector parents",  "parents that expect therapist rather than teachers", "parents that expect miracles without homework/rigor/discipline",  "administrators that adopt and foster unproven methods on how children learn (big consultancies, for sure!)", etc.
