If you believe vaccines work then you have nothing to worry about. If you believe newborns will be harmed then put them in a plastic bubble because you don't know what people have been vaxed for and what they have declined. Sure, they can refuse. They just won't care for my baby until he has had his shots. Simple.

That doesn't mean I have to keep my baby in a bubble. While I wish everyone would be responsible and stay up to date with their vaccinations as a service to public health, there is a difference between regular close contact and occasional casual encounters.[/quote]
