It is not a federally funded institution.  institutions compete for research grants and are awarded research grants based on the science, not based on some political ideology you're trying to impose.  Or at least that's the way it should be.   When you remove that, it is destructive.[/quote]

And again... If you don't like the science research being conducted at Harvard, then send your kid to a different institution to learn about science.

If you want to eat barbecued ribs, don't go to a pizzeria, go to a barbecued rib place.  You're walking into the barbecued rib place and trying to force them to make pizza, which is a waste of your time and energy and you're not even going to get good pizza.[/quote]
