But we need meaningful pushback from people with actual power (which includes not only electeds but the people/corporations who bankroll them).

ICYMI: even a groundswell of pushback from ordinary “Americans of ALL political stripes” won’t curb this egregious behavior by the administration. Your outrage on social media isn’t meaningful or effective. Even the rhetoric from electeds is rather meaningless. It’s just words. Our democracy needs bipartisan leadership to regain the control Congress was meant to have along with the checks and balances of the branches. Moreover, the DOJ cannot be weaponized. Bondi needs to go. But none of this matters unless Trump and his administration are reined in.
