Spots have been cut way down. The acceptance rates for the best ones(ivy+ level) are sub-6%. The above average but still fully funded ones(UMich, other top publics, non-T20 privates) are 7-12%. None of them take GRE anymore. Most humanities masters are >50k per year and not worth it. The ones with funding/cost under 30k a year are all known names in their field and extremely difficult to gain acceptance to. [/quote]
