I see this often.  Parents want their SPED kids to be mainstreamed, but insist their "gifted/advanced" kids be given separate classes.  It's nutty - not to mention, unfair when school systems acquiesce to these parents.[/quote]

You don't see the double standard?  I'm not talking about kids with mild special needs.
