You get the 9/1 cutoff but if players can prove their grade and were born 30 or 60 days before 9/1 they can play with that group.

A 9/1 cutoff with +30/60 days before 9/1 with proof of grade isnt hard to understand for most people but theres a small minority that dont understand math. Basically it takes too long to explain so the next best option is GY.[/quote]

Showcases should be grad year. If the goal is to get recruited at older high school ages a year or two age difference shouldn’t matter. If you’re D-1 you can play 2-3 years up and compete.[/quote]
