9/1+30/60 is even better.

You get the 9/1 cutoff but if players can prove their grade and were born 30 or 60 days before 9/1 they can play with that group.

Not all kids have defined grades, schools don't really have uniform IDs for kids by grades in most districts and clubs can't police this. This exception idea seems like a poorly thought out coffee shop discussion from people wanting an edge for their kid that has no chance in the real world.[/quote]
