Duke students (and harvard students which also ranks low on engineering) are among the best in the country. There is no comparison between the average engineering student at Duke (or ivies with Engineering) and the average UMD or Oh State student. Any professor who has taught at both will tell you. Duke and its peers do get the cream of the crop don't be ridiculous. [/quote]
