I dont think anyone called it an existential threat. But we do already have extremely high taxes, and a seriously profligate government. Maybe they could stop spending money on stupid shit instead? [/quote]

It blows my mind that the DC government spent a quarter billion dollars building the street car for H street and then, after just a few years of being in service, decided they didnt want it anymore. [/quote]
