Like, do you want to make the University of Maryland an "it" school? Turn that dial to only 10 percent OOS and it will become one of the most competitive schools in the country, especially for engineering and cs, which is already very difficult. State flagships can make things very difficult for OOS applicants.

As for general status, Georgia Tech, Texas, UVA, Texas A&M, Florida, UNC, and Georgia are all rolling higher today. But the South values college, so there are going to be a lot of good options besides Tennessee.

+100 This is widely known for those in SEC or southern circles. All the moms bragging about “UTK” need to understand the reputation is basically the same as WVU in terms of culture in the south. [/quote]
