Israel attacked and failed to do anything but hit civilians targets. Now we are forced to attack Iran because they are not developing nuclear weapons?

Iran had material at 83% and a lot of material at 60%.  
There is no non-military application of u235 at 60% purity.

They are pursuing a nuclear weapon.

Uh, huh.  Tell us again why they were enriching uranium to 60% purity?  And why their activities were buried deep underground to (try futilely to) hide and protect them?  And why they refused and continue to refuse international inspections of their program?

So waiting until Iran had a nuclear weapon would have been the smart move?  Only to you.  No civilized country thinks Iranian possession of a nuclear weapon would be beneficial for anyone or anything except advocates for expanding the Islamic Revolution beyond Iran.

And you really think ignoring Iran's pursuit of a nuclear weapon would have been better than removing their ability to realize their ambition?
