Personally I have no issue with abolishing ICE but preventing illegal immigration continues to poll highly. I think the Dems need to reestablish the case for expanding pathways for Legal immigration (increased tax base, younger labor force to ensure social security in the future, etc) and setting forth a policy to do that. Throw in some of the right’s policies to promote integration such as a language proficiency requirement, and that can be a winning message that FOR something not just against something. [/quote]
