Yep. The jobs they do take skill and artistry. They can’t just be replaced by any American looking for a job.

I do not know this to be true.  I had some brick steps repaired and repointed by an immigrant crew, they totally f'ed my front entrance way up!  It's a rather larger area in the front of the house so I had to find someone else to repair their repair.  Found a gentleman skilled in masonry who was an artist, a true artist and was able to reverse the damage.  The immigrant crew took siestas on my front lawn and were texting most of the time, this other gentleman turned up on time and did the job.  There are plenty of skilled laborers who are not illegal and people like you are the reason they aren't employed because you are cheap.  Was I cheap in hiring the first crew, no, in fact they cost me more than the second repair.  I was however stupid on every level to allow them to finish the job when I could see where it was heading. Hope springs eternal.[/quote]
