The family was in the country legally. While you may not degree with humanitarian exceptions, they were granted one. I do not object to kicking people out who are not here legally, but I am opposed to arbitrarily kicking out people who “followed the rules”. The GOP used to say that “illegal” immigrants should have “followed the rules” and applied like everyone else; this family did. Do you now oppose all forms of travel to the U.S. from foreigners?[/quote]
