exactly - I didn't expect that you could give a serious answer.  Jesus is God, and therefore has the ability to perform miracles like feeding thousands of people with a few fish and loaves of bread, or turning water into wine.  The government of the United States (or any other nation) does not have the power to work miracles, like taking care of all the poor and sick around the world, as nice as that would be.  All the government can do is make laws and enforce them.  [/quote]
