The US government relies on nonprofits to resettle refugees. At least one is refusing to work with this particular group of refugees. Good for them.
The Episcopal Church on Monday announced it would terminate its partnership with the government to resettle refugees, citing moral opposition to resettling white Afrikaners. Episcopal Migration Ministries said it had been notified by the federal government that it was expected to resettle some of the refugees. “It has been painful to watch one group of refugees, selected in a highly unusual manner, receive preferential treatment over many others who have been waiting in refugee camps or dangerous conditions for years,” wrote Most Rev. Sean Rowe, the presiding bishop of the church, adding that others including the Afghans and Christians fleeing persecution have been denied refuge.

So glad I left the Episcopal church even though it was sad at the time. This is horrific and unchristian.
Please. The drama. It’s a pet issue of Elon’s and Trump’s with the same grain of truth a the immigrants are eating cats and dogs. Here’s a report mentioning Elon from 2023. It looks like we should have given the visas to black SA’s. Or, are you unchristian? “Some of these victims are white farmers, but they are far from the only ones losing their lives at the hands of violent criminals. For every hundred murders, just 14 of the targets are women, 81 are men and five are children. Overwhelmingly, murder victims are young black men killed by other young, black men. Whites make up around eight per cent of the population and are the victims in roughly two per cent of murders. Poverty, rapid urbanisation, and vast numbers out of work have created a toxic situation that has given rise to crime, but not genocide.” https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/whats-the-truth-about-south-africas-genocide-of-white-farmers/
First of all, the church so there to serve refugees as part of Christian duty, not to make a political determination of who deserves to enter on asylum that they don’t have the information or qualifications to make. Second of all, we can all see with eyes when EFF leaders like Julius Malema calls for extermination of whites: “We must be able to explain to our people what black consciousness is and why it cannot coexist with the idea that white people are inherently superior, and one of the two must die.” We can read when the government puts into place laws that allow for confiscation of property without payment based on race. We can read and interpret news stories about the murders of farmers and what data is and is not being tabulated. “On the sprawling maizefields outside Johannesburg, the Engelbrecht family know the full horror of the South African farm attacks that are so common they no longer rate a headline. The scene inside the house was chaos. A door broken with an axe. Blood everywhere. And in the bedroom, his parents lying together, their hands tied, their throats slit, the cord of an iron tied around his mother's neck. Her body was still warm. "My father always said, 'It's not if, it's when'," says Jo-an Engelbrecht, standing where he found the bodies. "He knew it's coming," he says, tears choking his words. "We all know it's coming. It's just a question of when.".. Jo-an doesn't believe the murder of his parents — or of the 20 or 30 of his neighbours killed in the past decade or so — can be written off as mere robberies. "Not only do they kill, but the way they kill, they torture you," he says. "This is hate. This is political hate."“ http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-07-31/south-african-farm-murders/10013298
