Not the same thing but at my agency HR has been scrubbing our records and making sure all of the documentation is correct.  I know they also did an audit of all the new people to see if any of them should be considered probationary (i.e. transfers from other agencies incorrectly classified as permanent).[/quote]

PP here and that's not true.  If the positions are not substantially similar they can make you do another probationary period.  There is case law on this btw.[/quote]
