Opinion polls only report what people polled think about something. They are unrelated to whether those thoughts are rational, justified, moral, ethical, have any basis in objective reality, or anything else. People are often ill-informed, biased, prejudiced, subject to propaganda, influenced by groupthink, or otherwise unreliable in their perceptions. So poll results on these kinds of topics are essentially of no value whatsoever.
Not only that, but the military industrial complex, which is incredibly powerful, loves Israeli foreign policy as it has led us to conflicts not only in Gaza, but Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and probably Iran soon. Polls mean a lot actually, and this one shows that the American people are not happy with Israel’s actions. That matters because the US is Israel’s biggest supporter.
I beg to disagree. While these polls are nice to hear, Aipac backed candidates, which is basically every single candidate, are guaranteed to win regardless of what anti-war/genocide/zionist opinions their constituents may have
Spot on. Money talks. Voters are idiots. They'll continue to vote for Republicans and Democrats no matter how awful and dysfunctional our two major parties are.
