Arlington recruiting starts in 8th/9th grade and college advising at these schools starts absurdly late (junior year). Girls are committing for soccer at the same time as they’d be beginning to make a list with their college counselors at these schools. Anyone getting into an ivy or high academic D3 AND playing a sport or either doing it through club recruiting or, if it’s through the normal admissions process, THEN they’re working through the school counselors and they’re likely some sort of walk on.
