I pledged a less selective house and had a fantastic experience. My sorority was incredibly fun while also being normal and down-to-earth. It was great to get to know women from other class years (broadened my college experience for sure) and I learned a ton by planning events and leading rush my senior year. FWIW, I’ve actually grown closer to some of my sorority friends over time as we reconnected on FB, met up while traveling, networked for work etc. For me, it was 100% a great experience both in school and long after. Seriously, not all sororities are elitist, superficial, or vapid. [/quote]
