To OPs point, he is interacting with them at the workplace; presumably the ones complaining don't live in suburbs and own homes yet, so would not be your neighbors. Also they would not be asking you permission to leave early or have "flexible" schedules -- I think that is exactly what irks OP.  [/quote]
