"Unreal" is often used as a slang expression to denote something hard to believe.  For example, if you attend a football match and the corner kick spins into the goal to win FIFA in the last seconds, one might say, "that was an unreal goal!"

In the present context the poster is indicating that over time it has been increasingly more difficult to gain entrance into Boston College.  For the majority of colleges, including Boston College, Early Decision confers a benefit to applying in that manner.  Cetirus paribus, it was easier to gain admission to Boston College as a regular decision applicant in 2010 than it is an early decision applicant in 2024.
