This is one of the few places that I feel free to discuss atheism.  Being religious is the default position in the US, even though recent studies indicate that fewer people these days are religious.

If that were what the atheists on this forum were, that would be great. I'd love to be challenged to think deeply.

What I mostly read is angry, combative people spewing misinformation and shouting "That's not rational!"

Was it just good luck that you were born into a family that knew that your God was the only true god? Bad luck for the others born into no religion or another religion or 6000 years ago? Or 100,000 years ago.[/quote]
