As a public elementary school teacher I can assure you that FAR more resources go into dealing with "ADHD" and other "disabilities" that are just caused by screen addiction and horrific lack of parenting. Our one school has 2 EL teachers and 9 (NINE) special education teachers and teaching assistants working with these students in Gen Ed classrooms (I'm not even counting the sped teachers that work in self contained programs.)[/quote]

As a parent who hears regularly during the school year that yet another student has shown up and doesn't speak English, I'm well aware of the impact on American kids in terms of the teacher's time and attention.

We have to educate American children (ADHD and all). We should not be responsible for educating the world's children. Hopefully Plyler is addressed at the SCOTUS soon.[/quote]
