So your child started school early?  With the change they can always play with classmates if that is what they want.   Nothing stops you from playing up,  it just may not be on the top team.   All these manufactured grievances are exhausting.  [/quote]

You misread my post.  He started school when he was supposed to according to the rules of the State.  It hasn't hurt him academically, socially or soccer-wise.

However, this change would force him to play with kids in the grade below him unless he plays up.  Now, on ability that shouldn't be an issue.  However, if the club or governing body prohibits that, then he's screwed.[/quote]
