They said these things 8 years ago too.  Republicans did not block a perfectly good bipartisan border bill, they blocked a bad bipartisan border bill, as McConnell and the corporate Republicans keep trying to pass going back decades now.  A good border bill would block Presidents from opening the border, as Democrats want to do along with McConnell and the corporate Republicans.
It is clear that Trump would have ten million fewer immigrants at least compared to a Harris administration.
Biden/Harris are dropping immigration cases, letting ineligible people in through an app using parole, and dropping Trump's Remain in Mexico policy.  They stopped building the wall, canceling existing contracts, even with supplies already purchased.  When Congress put in that these supplies should be given to states to let them build the wall, Biden/Harris moved quickly before the bill took effect to sell off the supplies before they would have to hand it to the states.
