MEG (MLSN, ECNL, GA)
I’d ditch ECNL (at least for Boys).
It’s you again- isn’t it. Enough already about the ECNL not for boys act. Plenty of strong ECNL boys teams who can whoop MLS next teams. Just as many ECNL boys being recruited as well. Tirdd of your continued droning on about MLs Next- Achilles and Alexandria anybody? In VA the MLS next teams are a far cry below the ECNL teams. I bet pipeline could also beat Bethesda. There is just as wide variation in MLS Next as ECNL. So if we are going to make a statement make it accurate…The only notch above ECNL for college recruiting is Academy. Next and ECNL both have solid player pools with both good and average players…
Keep on whipping that tired mule. The level of competition is 5x that of ECNL. How many MLS age group academies do ECNL teams square off against? Zero. What do Achilles and Alexandria have to do with this discussion? This isn’t a chest pump about any local team. The fact remains almost most top teams in every state are MLS affiliated. ECNL had great run, but it’s just not as strong.
You can whip a mule all you want. It won't work when tired. Mules have an incredible sense of self preservation. All whipping will do is get you a kick when they have the opportunity. Mules have long memories and will get revenge. Horses, on the other hand, will work until they drop. If the owner knows what is good for them, they will give it a rest when it's tired. Who says you can't learn something on this sewer of a board? :)
