Ok, this is a little weird. Some news outlets are reported severe injuries, including losing an eye, but others are saying he was slightly injured. Tehran Times has a quote from his wife saying he had a “minor injury” but doing just fine. She made it sound like he was going to fully recover.

Yeah, I'm not sure what is the truth. In the NYT article, it says this is per two anonymous Revolutionary guards.

If his injuries were more serious, Iran may be pushed to retaliate by hard liners. Therefore, they may be trying to downplay the injuries. But who knows.[/quote]
