[/quote] OP also remember your 90th/95th percentile kid doesn’t have to go to a top 1% school among the nearly 6000 colleges available in order to be very successful. As discussed above, kids with similar stats often have better career trajectories if they attend a school where they can be one of the better students. And good social skills will carry them far.
