I consider living in DC kind of like living in an old Victorian with 6 roommates. It’s kind of a cool thing to do in your twenties, but no one really does it after that unless they have to or they really embrace that lifestyle. No one looks down on you for growing up and settling down once you have children. [/quote] I’ve never understood the appeal of dc since I first moved there in 2000 (I’ve had to come and go several times since). This may be the best analogy I’ve ever seen to describe it. [/quote]
