If I see a political sign in someone's yard or a bumper sticker on their car of any GOP or Dem candidate, I immediately lose all faith in their intelligence. It's one thing to carry out a civil duty by voting for a major party candidate you perceive as the lesser of two evils but only a duped simpleton could openly "support" them. This is why we are seeing less and less political signs and bumper stickers. People are getting smarter. [/quote]

Very good observation.

This thread caught my eye yesterday, so this morning I watched for signs of either candidate as I drove to work from Great Falls, VA to DC.  I saw two Trump/Vance signs, both in Great Falls, plus two American flag signs (tell me you are voting for Trump without telling me) also in Great Falls.  No signs at all in McLean.  Then one Harris sign in Arlington, plus a "Hate Has No Home" and a "Black Lives Matter" sign, both in Arlington, which I assume are Harris voters.  But five signs total is not very many. Perhaps it is just early and we will see more after Labor Day?  Or perhaps nobody is proud of their candidate, and 99% are just voting against the other one?  [/quote]
