Have you never had a jury summons? It asks if you speak English (which is technically not the official language of this country because we don't have one). And, also plenty of real Americans try to get out of jury duty. As for fighting in a war, lots of immigrants join the US military to get a fast track to citizenship. I've had family members do that. One had a perfect command of the English language as they came here at the age of 5; the other came as a teenager, still had an accent, but could speak English. They both served this country. As McCain stated, "I'm not going to tell that GI that we are going to deport his grandma.. you do it". (paraphrasing the quote).[/quote]
