You're allowed to take roadkill for food but does anyone eat bear? Sketchy. I have read a lot about the Kennedys. The only one I think was worth a darn was his father, Robert Kennedy, and even he had some issues. I think he believes in conspiracy theories because he lived in a world where stories got silenced and spun. He lives in a world where the truth doesn't necessarily exist. His brother Joe was driving a jeep or a dune buggy or something and had an accident which paralyzed a young woman for life. They paid her off. It was kept quiet for decades until she finally talked about it. That brother had a short political career because he and the rest of them are lightweights without the grandfather Joe manipulating their careers. But it was never mentioned while he was running for office so no scandal that would tank him. The New Yorker article not only talks about RFK Jr's many affairs but it also makes clear that his fame as an environmentalist is mostly bogus. He basically needed something to do after he was arrested so he got involved with Riverkeepers and his name got them lots of money. Then he removed the founder and took credit for it. He is even less credible than I realized and I didn't think much of him. The article says that his mother gave up on him and relied on Lem Billings to "raise" him. Billings was a sycophant who was in love with JFK. They did heroin together while he was in college! Grandfather Joe liked Hitler and pled his case to Roosevelt, when he was ambassador to Great Britain. The oldest son, Joe Jr, who died, liked Hitler and that got his father's attention. RFK Jr's daughter-in-law Amarylis Fox is also sketchy. She wrote a book about being a CIA agent. My organization tried to contact her representatives and publisher when the book was in galleys, to see about an appearance. We got no return emails or calls. Unusual for a publisher but I think maybe they knew it was fabulism. The book came and went. The details in the book are questioned in the New Yorker article. They all have serious problems with reality and so much money the rules have never applied to them. No one would even be listening to him if he were not a Kennedy.
