I cannot imagine putting dd in the situation I was in, and the contrast was so hurtful and odd. I think my parents are genuinely clueless. My dad joked recently about me just eating pasta and my fridge being empty when he visited my little place...I couldn't afford to fill it! It will never stop being odd to me that they would do all this because they are generally nice caring people. [/quote]
