Arabs don’t treat Muslim Indian and Pakistani well in Saudi Arabia especially during the time she grew up there  so she was an immigrant and outsider there too.  Even if she spoke Arabic and was born there, they would still see her as an outsider. Saudis  can be very snobbish and weird  . Oddly they are friendliest to Americans and white people in general even above other Arabs like Palestinians and Emiratis and Syrians .
