High school seems like such a different beast compared to the other two levels that I kind of expected they would be promoting assistant principals, but I'm wondering what you've seen.[/quote]

They have done both in the past. If it's a middle school principal moving up a level, they have often spent some time in a HS previously. Like the current principals of RM and Churchill had been MS principals when they were hired, but they had each served as HS APs before that.[/quote]
