Anyone who thinks another Trump term will mean the end of democracy, or our country being destroyed, is overreacting. Full stop. We have too many layers of checks and balances, legal protections and inertia for that to happen. Four years is not enough time to unravel everything.
You’re not paying attention. https://www.project2025.org/
Do you get paid for the clicks?
Why are you so scared people might read this?
I think Republicans are afraid that undecided and wishy washy maybe voters will read Project 2025 and realize what the GOP plans are and vote accordingly. I think a lot of Republicans refuse to read it themselves because they will realize that what they have thought of as “liberal hyperbole” about their party is real, that the GOP does plan on installing a non-democratic, highly partisan government. And that’s even without considering Agenda 47 and the GOP’s stated plans on birth control and abortion.
People lived through Trump presidency and they lived through Biden's presidency. They are smart to make their own decisions without your propaganda.
It’s not “my propaganda,” it’s the Republican Party platform. People wouldn’t be “smart” to make their own decisions without information on what the Republicans plan to do if they win.
+1 The GOP is planning to remake the entire political structure of the country, effectively destroying democracy. Seems relevant that people should know that the GOP all came together to make these plans. Because it’s not an idle they-kind-of-want-to, it’s whole processes. They have lists of volunteers of people who would come and staff the newly partisan governmental agencies after the GOP administration fires all the non-political people. They intend to make the government thoroughly Republican in order to enable dismantling democracy. That’s not propaganda. That’s what they want to do.
