[/quote] When one kids got really sick, and needed a ventilator and someone awake and watching him 24/7, someone started a GoFundMe for our family. It meant I could quit my job, and that my other kids, who were "living" and "able" could stay in their neighborhood, and their school, and their activities, and my DH didn't have to add a ton of overtime and could take off work for particularly major medical appointments etc . . ., and to be with our sick kid so I could give undivided attention to my other kids.
