Also strsssed what if he loves both lol. Meaning I hope it's an easy decision. I don't see how these kids pick. He doesn't care about where he lives after college. Meaning, he's focusing on where he will spend the 4 years. Maybe it will come back to the campus and that's it! One is city more than college town.
This is where my child is stuck. Loves both Florida and Georgia and can't decide.
Did he visit both? They're so similar. What major?
Yes, visited both and will major in business.
My son also business. A lot of UF business classes are online if that makes a difference. Did you know that? Kids still love it there, don't get me wrong but sort of a negative in my opinion.
I have heard that, and it is a big negative in my eyes. Is your son considering UF?
He didn't get in UF, but he had said beforehand that he would iikely choose UGA over UF even if he got in. Not totally sure why- maybe because he does know a few kids at UGA, and visited and liked it. I was surprised he didn't get in, but it's ok! Now he's deciding between UGA and Wisconsin. I feel like he' more of a cold weather guy so UF would be so hot. Not that UGA is cold, but they at least have a fall and seasons, etc. Does your child know anyone at either school? Apparently people can also tour the business schools if that would help. Do they want Greek life?
I agree with you on weather. I would pick UGA over UF for multiple reasons. He doesn’t have close connections at either school but knows one or two classmates who have been admitted to both, but have not yet committed. UGA and Wisconsin are both great, fun places. Tough choice.
